Effective Date: August 2026 · Version 2.1
Welcome to the Day 1 Coworking website (the “Website”). By accessing or using this Website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
1. About Us
This Website is operated by 第一天共創公司, a company registered in Taiwan, trading as Day 1 Coworking. Full company details appear at the end of these terms.
The Website provides information about our coworking space, memberships, events, meeting rooms and related services, and allows you to purchase them online.
2. Use of the Website
You agree to use this Website only for lawful purposes. You may not:
- Use the Website for unlawful or fraudulent activities;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems;
- Interfere with the Website's operation or security;
- Upload malicious software or harmful code;
- Misrepresent your identity when interacting with Day 1;
- Extract or scrape content systematically without our written permission.
3. Purchases Made Through This Website
Information regarding memberships, meeting rooms, events, pricing and availability is subject to change. Prices displayed at the time of your order are the prices that apply to that order.
- All prices are shown in New Taiwan Dollars (NTD) and are inclusive of business tax.
- Before completing a purchase you will see a summary of what you are buying, the total price, and the applicable terms.
- Your order is accepted when we send you a confirmation email.
- A Government Uniform Invoice (統一發票) is issued for each purchase.
- Purchases are subject to the Membership Terms and the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
| Your seven-day statutory right to cancel Purchases made through this Website are distance transactions (通訊交易) under the Consumer Protection Act. You have the right to withdraw from the contract within seven (7) days of receiving the service, without giving a reason and without penalty. Where you have already used part of the service, the value of what you used is set off against the refund. See Section 1 of our Refund & Cancellation Policy for full details. |
4. Website Accounts
Where you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
An account is also created for you automatically when you register for an event through this Website, using the name and email address you provide, so that you can access your ticket and manage your registration. We email you a one-time link to confirm your email address and, if you wish, complete a member profile.
Sign-in links and codes we email you are personal to you, valid for a limited period and single-use. Please do not forward them — anyone holding the link can sign in as you. To protect accounts against misuse we record the IP address, approximate location and device of each sign-in and each event registration, as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Payment Security
Payments made through this Website are processed by third-party payment providers over encrypted connections. We do not store your complete payment card number on our systems.
6. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, all content on this Website — including text, graphics, logos, photographs, designs and branding — is the property of Day 1 Coworking or its licensors.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or commercially use any content without prior written permission. You may view, download and print content for your own personal, non-commercial use.
7. User-Submitted Content
If you submit content to the Website (for example an event listing, review or community post), you confirm that you have the right to do so and that the content is not unlawful, misleading or infringing. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to display that content in connection with our services. We may remove content that breaches these terms.
8. Third-Party Links
This Website may contain links to third-party websites or services. These links are provided for convenience only. Day 1 is not responsible for the content, security or privacy practices of external websites.
9. Website Availability
We strive to keep the Website available and up to date. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access and may suspend or modify the Website for maintenance, updates or operational reasons. Where a planned interruption is likely to affect bookings, we will give notice where reasonably practicable.
10. Accuracy of Information
The information on this Website is provided for general informational purposes. While we make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and current, we do not guarantee that all content is complete, accurate or free from errors.
If a price or product description is shown incorrectly due to an obvious error, we will contact you before processing your order and you may confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Day 1 shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from the use of this Website.
| Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the Consumer Protection Act, the Civil Code or other mandatory law of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Where any provision of these Terms would be unfair to consumers under Article 12 of the Consumer Protection Act, that provision does not apply. |
12. Privacy and Cookies
Your use of this Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use personal information in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act, and how we use cookies.
13. Accessibility
We aim to make this Website usable by as many people as possible. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please contact us and we will do our best to provide the information you need in an alternative format.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this Website. Changes take effect when published, but do not apply retroactively to purchases already made.
Complaints and Dispute Resolution
If you have a complaint, please contact us first using the contact details set out at the end of this document. We aim to acknowledge complaints within three (3) business days and resolve them within fifteen (15) days.
If we are unable to resolve your complaint, you may escalate it through the following channels available to consumers in Taiwan:
- The Consumer Service Hotline on 1950;
- The consumer protection officer (消費者保護官) of the relevant local government;
- The Consumers' Foundation, Chinese Taipei (中華民國消費者文教基金會); or
- Mediation or litigation in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Any dispute shall be submitted to the Taiwan Taipei District Court as the court of first instance, without prejudice to any mandatory provision of the Consumer Protection Act that grants you the right to bring proceedings in another competent court.
