Hi, I'm Rose! 🌷
My journey has taken me from studying at UCLA to working on climate change and food access, then spending four years in Washington, DC, working in energy security for the U.S. government.
Eventually, a scholarship to study Chinese brought me to Taiwan 🇹🇼 and what was supposed to be a short adventure turned into a whole new chapter of my life! Starting over in a new country wasn't always easy. Through the ups and downs, I found my way back to painting. 🎨
Whether it was my favorite neighborhood breakfast shop, a cozy memory, or an afternoon painting in a hostel in Cambodia, art became my way of holding on to the little moments that made life beautiful.
I learned that even when life feels uncertain, we can always create something meaningful ✨Today, my life in Taiwan is filled with wonderful friends, painting, dance, and music. And I'd love to share a little of that joy with you!

🎨 Paint your happy place: A favorite travel memory, a childhood neighborhood, or anywhere your heart wants to revisit.
🖌️ Learn gouache painting basics: I'll guide you step by step with an easy, curated color palette. No painting experience needed!
💭 Turn memories into art: Slow down, get creative, and reconnect with places that mean something to you.
🖼️ Create a mini art gallery: At the end of the evening, we'll bring everyone's windows together for a beautiful group photo!
🎁 Take your masterpiece home: Your painting will be framed and ready to hang, a little window into your favorite place.
